Mono

A friend of mine has mono. This is the email I am forwarding to her from another friend whose son had mono. This shows you that natural medicine works.

The nutritionist is at Sundrops Nutrition on Oaklawn. I went in and consulted with him. Didn't take Dakota. Here are his recs
I had organized this for a friend at school and was able to cut and paste.

I think Dakota's rather speedy recovery was partially due to the food supplements and vitamins and elixirs he has been taking. I consulted the nutritionist at Sundrops Nutrition on OakLawn Ave and he recommended all of this. It was pricey, but I think his recovery was rather outstanding and it helped with the fatigue. When he forgot to take them one day, he reported he could tell a big difference in energy.

Definitely get that Blockade - the herbal virus blocker from Elderberry extract , it coats the virus so it can't attach to your cells. It is suppose to keep you from getting sicker and also works as a preventative by helping your body fend off those nasty viruses. I am still poking it down Dakota, now in the normal doses.

But when he was sick, here is what he was taking.

For energy and essential vitamins.
Vitamin A 250 mg caps 3 in am and 3 in pm
Fish Oil 1800 mg per day
Vitamin C 1000 mg caps - 3 in am, 3 in pm

Beneficial: These help reduce stress on the overtaxed immune system
* I think these two were the most important
*Blockage - 1 tablet in morning and night ADP (Oil of Oregano) 50 mg caps 2 in am, 2 in pm
Olive Leaf 250 mg caps, 2 in am, 2 in pm

Mai take D Fraction (mushroom Extract) 6000 mg - 6 drops in water am and pm (*boosts immunities)

Also, he has such a terrible time with mucus - could hardly breathe and thus could hardly sleep. We found that Mucinex works wonders-he did the 1200 mg extended release every 12 hours for about 4 or 5 days. You have to drink lots of water with it. And Liquid Motrin helped with the swelling of the nasal and throat when he couldn't swallow pills.

I didn't start Dakota on this regime until the Tuesday a week after the Monday when he was diagnosed. He is back to his full workout schedule now, less than 7 weeks later. I wish I had known about it earlier.
