I told you I would be including parts of Barbra's story throughout the week. Here is another part:

To put it bluntly, and accurately, eggs make us crazy. Literally crazy. Only I, an adult, can control my crazy whereas Atlantis, a child, cannot. And our reaction to dairy isn't much better. Because most people can reintroduce food allergens back into their diets on at least a limited basis, we have done exactly that. We have reintroduced other food allergens we tested positive for like soy, and found there to be no problem. But with dairy and especially egg, I seriously doubt we will ever be able to reincorporate them into our eating plan except in a very, very limited way. The reactions are just too explosive. Just a little egg found in a bakery cookie, can make Atlantis go balistic.
